The Legrand Galion 45A DP Switch + 13A BS + LED + “Cooker” (3×6) is an electrical switch that is designed for use in kitchens, particularly for controlling the power supply to cookers. The switch features a double-pole (DP) design, which means that both the live and neutral connections are interrupted when the switch is turned off. This ensures complete isolation of the appliance from the mains supply when it is not in use.
The switch is rated for a maximum load of 45 amps, making it suitable for use with high-power cooking appliances such as electric ovens, hobs, and grills. In addition, the switch also includes a 13-amp BS outlet, which can be used to power other kitchen appliances such as blenders, toasters, and kettles. The switch also features a built-in LED indicator light, which provides a visual indication of the switch’s status. When the switch is turned on, the LED lights up, indicating that power is flowing to the connected appliance.
When the switch is turned off, the LED turns off, indicating that the power supply has been cut off. The switch is designed to be mounted on a standard 3×6 grid, which is a common size for electrical switch boxes in many countries. The Legrand Galion 45A DP Switch + 13A BS + LED + “Cooker” (3×6) is a high-quality and reliable switch that is ideal for use in any kitchen where safety and convenience are a top priority.
