Description

The Legrand Synergy Metal Clad 13A 250V Double Pole Socket Outlet is an electrical socket designed to provide a reliable and safe connection point for electrical devices. It is constructed with a durable metal casing that protects the internal components and ensures a long lifespan. The socket is designed to be mounted onto a wall or other surface and is suitable for use in residential or commercial applications. It is equipped with two sockets, each rated at 13 amps and 250 volts, which can be used simultaneously.
The socket is designed with a double-pole switch, which means that both the live and neutral connections are switched. This provides an added level of safety by completely disconnecting the socket from the electrical supply when it is switched off. The socket is designed to be easy to install, with screw terminals that allow for quick and easy wiring. It is also screened to reduce interference from other electrical devices, which helps to ensure a clear and stable signal.

How to use

Step 1: Determine where you want to install the socket. It should be placed in a convenient location that is easily accessible and allows for the connection of electrical devices.

Step 2: Mount the socket onto the wall or other surface using the appropriate screws and wall anchors.

Step 3: Connect the live, neutral, and earth wires to the appropriate screw terminals on the socket. Make sure that the wires are securely connected and that there are no loose strands of wire that could cause a short circuit.

Step 4: Once the wiring is complete, you can connect electrical devices to the socket by inserting the plug into the socket’s female connector. Make sure that the device is rated for use with a 13-amp, 250-volt outlet and that it is properly grounded.

Step 5: To turn the socket on or off, simply use the double-pole switch located on the socket. When the switch is in the “off” position, the socket is completely disconnected from the electrical supply.

Step 6: Test the socket to ensure that it is working properly. If there are any issues with the connection, make sure that the wiring is securely connected and that the socket is properly grounded.
