How to use

Step 1: Turn off the power supply to the socket by switching off the circuit breaker in the electrical panel.

Step 2: Remove the cover plate of the socket by gently pulling it away from the wall. This will expose the socket and the wiring connections.

Step 3: Connect the live wire (usually red or brown) to the live terminal of the socket, the neutral wire (usually black or blue) to the neutral terminal, and the earth wire (usually green or yellow) to the earth terminal. Make sure the wires are securely connected and there are no loose ends.

Step 4: Once the wiring is complete, attach the cover plate back onto the socket.

Step 5: Turn on the power supply by switching on the circuit breaker in the electrical panel.

Step 6: To use the socket, simply plug in your electrical device or appliance into the socket. If the socket has a cord outlet (C), plug the power cord directly into the socket. If the socket has an earth terminal (E), connect the earth wire of the device or appliance to the earth terminal.

Step 7: To turn on the electrical device or appliance, flip the switch located on the socket. The switch will indicate whether the socket is in use or not.
