A 15A switched socket with neon is an electrical component used to supply power to electrical devices or appliances. It is designed to be wall-mounted and has a switch that can be used to turn the socket on or off. The socket is typically made of durable materials such as plastic or metal and has a rectangular shape with a standard size that fits into a common electrical box. It is rated to handle up to 15 amps of current and has a voltage rating of 240 volts. The neon indicator light on the socket provides a visual indication of the socket’s status.
When the switch is turned on, the neon light will illuminate, indicating that the socket is active and ready to supply power to connected devices. When the switch is turned off, the neon light will turn off as well, indicating that the socket is not active and no power is being supplied to connected devices. The 15A switched socket with neon is easy to install and use. It has screw terminals that allow for easy and secure connection of wires, and the switch is conveniently located for easy access.
