Description

The Legrand Synergy White 13 A 250 V DP Single Switched Socket is a wall-mounted electrical outlet that can be used to power a variety of devices. It has a double-pole (DP) design, which means that both the live and neutral wires are disconnected when the switch is turned off, providing an extra layer of safety. The socket features a white plastic casing that is both durable and easy to clean.
It is designed to fit into a standard single-gang electrical box and can be easily installed using the screws provided. The socket is rated for 13 A and 250 V, which means it can handle devices with high power requirements. The switch provides an easy way to turn the power on and off for the connected device, helping to save energy and reduce the risk of electrical hazards.

How to use

Step 1: Turn off the power supply to the electrical box where the socket will be installed. This can be done by switching off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse.

Step 2: Remove the cover plate of the electrical box and attach the socket to the box using the screws provided. Make sure the socket is securely fastened to the box.

Step 3: Connect the live, neutral, and earth wires to the appropriate terminals on the back of the socket. The live wire should be connected to the terminal marked ‘L’, the neutral wire should be connected to the terminal marked ‘N’, and the earth wire should be connected to the terminal marked with the E symbol.

Step 4: Once the wires are connected, carefully insert the socket into the electrical box, making sure the wires do not get pinched or damaged.

Step 5: Replace the cover plate of the electrical box and turn on the power supply.

Step 6: To use the socket, simply plug in the device and turn on the switch. The device should now be powered and ready to use.
